Realtime Technologies Purchase AOI

Realtime have recently added CyberOptics’ Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) system to their list of equipment. The AOI system provides significant enhancement to Realtime’s inspection capabilities and flexibility, and provides the ability to detect inaccurately placed components, reversed components, missing components, components with incorrect polarity, insufficient solder and the occurrences of bridging. As a result, the AOI system can provide RTT with the capability to efficiently inspect various defects with high performance and accuracy.

Realtime Technologies’ QMS has been recertified to ISO 13485:2003 Quality Management Standard. A New Addition to Realtime’s Production Equipment

Realtime have recently added the first part of their third SMT line. The Sanyo TCM 3500z high speed placement machine which debuted on Thursday, 24th February provides significant enhancement to Realtime's capacity and flexibility in today's dynamic manufacturing environment. With the addition of the new machine the facility now boasts three high speed and high accuracy placement assembly lines. All of which can accommodate the most up-to-date package styles such as 0201, 0402, QFP, QFN, Ball Grid Array (BGA), Micro BGA, and chip on chip packages.
